Fodue Party!!!!

Dates don't end with marriage. Last weekend Pat and I went on a triple date that ended with a fondue blast.

Doug, Mariah, Chris, and Annie all came over where we made some delicious chocolate fondue with Chris and Annie's chocolate fountain.

Although the end result left us with a stomach ache from a chocolate overdose, it did take a couple of test runs for us to get the chocolate just right.

We ended the night with the best game ever made....Catch Phrase!!

Being married a blast.

Sunday at the "Y"

A couple of weekends ago Patrick and I decided to be total Zoobies and hike the "Y." It was my first time and I was in for a surprise.

In the 4 years that I have lived in Provo, that hike never appeared as a "hike." However, I was quickly corrected as we began our hour tour of the mountain.

We had to stop every 10 minutes due to my lack of exercise and due to Pat's allergies.

After, the hour it was well worth the time and effort because now I can say I am a true Provoite and Zoobie.

Saturday at Utah Lake

With snow still in the mountains, this past Saturday "the gang"-- Ben, Steve, Chris, Jared, Pat-- and I all went to the lake on Ben's boat. He has it for a few weeks until his family goes on their famous yearly Lake Powell trip.

A couple of weeks ago Pat found a secluded area on the lake that not many people go to.

The day was perfect; with the weather in the low 80's and hardly anyone else out on the water, they spent the day wake boarding and jet skiing. I emphasize the "they" because I just spent all day sitting on the boat watching them do their thing.

The day ended with the boat dying on the water and having to jump start it with the jet ski. Thank goodness it started because we would have had to swim to shore! We thought we had better stop while we were ahead.

Hopefully there will be more weekends like this one.

Happy Birthday Luke!

For Luke's 5th Birthday Jodi, Jordan, Luke, Dylan, Mason and Tyler all came down to Provo to celebrate.

We had pizza, opened presents, played with the new presents, and then headed off to Chucky Cheese.

Luke had so much fun opening presents and throwing them everywhere looking for the next gift. Luke got enough presents to have a full blown water park/festival in his back yard.

There's No Place Like Home...

After about 3 w
eeks we are finally almost all settled in our new place. There still are minor details to finish, but for the most part we are finally DONE!
With friends
just above us, a rent that is great, and everything we need at this time in our lives we are very comfortable.
We are stil
l looking at moving into a house this fall, but we are waiting for the deal of the century. Once we find that we will be moving; however, if that deal does not reveal itself, most likely we will be staying in our humble abode for the next 3 years.

Colorado Open House

After our dream vacation to Florida we flew straight to Colorado for yet another party! We could get used to this sort of life style.
The weather gave us a scare, having an afternoon thunderstorm, but thank goodness it cleared up just in time.

The Open House ran smoothly. With a live band, amazing food, and all of Pat's family and friends the party was a hit.

We must give a special thanks to the Evanson's and the Koelling's for making it such a great night!

HoneyMoon- Marco Island

The day after our wedding, Pat and I headed to south west Florida, to a little place called Marco Island. It was located about 20 minutes south of Naples. It was perfect. White sand beaches, a hotel room view of the beach, nothing to do, and plenty of sea shells to collect.

We spent all day just laying on the beach, well correction, IIIII spent all day laying on the beach while Pat (with his ADD) got some snorkel gear and went looking for some sea shells. Pat came home with quite a collection of seashells and I came home with a tan.

May 5, 2007

It all began just about a little under a month ago on May 5th, 2007. The wedding day went smoothly. I don't think Pat and I could have hoped for more, except maybe warmer weather. It was a little cold and rainy, but nothing that could ruin the day. The small dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial building that evening was great; with friends and family telling memorable experiences, some of which could have been left unsaid. The evening was perfect.
We want to thank all you for your love and support on that day.
